Meet James
James Morrison is running for Mission Viejo City Council, District 4, because he believes the community that his family calls home is worth serving, and its future is worth protecting.
James served 14 years in the United States Army Reserve, including three deployments to Iraq, and today works as a Human Resources leader helping organizations navigate complex challenges, develop leaders, and prepare for the future.
James and his wife are raising four children: a college student attending William & Mary, a high school senior and sophomore, and a fourth grader. Their family also includes three German Shepherds—America, Poppy, and Eleanor.
For James, this campaign is about more than winning an election. It is about serving his neighbors and ensuring Mission Viejo remains a community future generations are proud to call home.
